Healthy & Delicious Oat Cookies

Hello everyone, today I wanted to share one of my go to cookie recipe which I tend to make at least once every two weeks! They taste amazing and are jam packed with healthy ingredients. I also really love how customisable the recipe is; you can add anything you want, or exchange ingredients for others depending on any food restrictions. The cookies can last up to a week or can also be frozen for a longer time. That is definitely not a problem though because any time I make the my friends and family end up finishing them super fast! Here is how to make these delicious treats!


40 g of softened butter

70 g of brown or white sugar

1 large egg

85 g honey

A dash of water

5 ml of vanilla extract

75 g of flour

A pinch of salt

1.25 g of baking soda

A dash of cinnamon

150 g of oats

85 g of add-ins: nuts, chocolate chips, raisins, chia seeds and anything you want

NOTE: preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius!


First in a bowl combine your softened butter, sugar and honey

Then add the large egg, water and vanilla to that mixture

In another bowl combine your dry ingredients: flour, oats, salt, baking soda and cinnamon

Combine your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and mix thoroughly

Also at this point you can mix in any extra add-ins such as nuts and chocolate chips!

Finally, on a 1 tablespoon sized 3 cm apart

Bake for 10-15 until light brown!
